What is an OOSH
OOSH is a nationwide, generic name that stands for Out Of School Hours childcare for school aged children from Kinder to Year 6. The OOSH childcare system allows you, as parents, to individually access Federal funding through the Child Care Benefits scheme (CCB).
What is CCS?
Child Care Subsidy is available to families that complete and activity test through MYGOV - Centrelink. Eligibility is based on income levels and time that you work, participate in certain voluntary positions or study. Centrelink Offices can supply more information. If you wish to claim a bulk payment you will need to advise the centre of your family reference number and link your family to the centre.
Please note that there is a gap between the Centre’s fees and the amount of Childcare benefit.
What is A Customer Reference Number?
By law parents are required to apply for a CRN for:
a) Your family;
b) Each of your children, according to the Centre you would like your children to benefit from, and whether it is Before/After School Care or Vacation Care.

What Time is Afternoon Tea?
Afternoon tea is scheduled to ensure that all children have arrived at WEMOOSH and is usually served around 4:00PM!
What about Sending Toys?
We ask that children do not bring their toys to WEMOOSH as they are easily lost, broken and mixed up with our own resources. If children do bring their own toys, they will be asked to keep them in their bag.
Should I Send My Child with a Change of Clothes?
WEMOOSH programs are very physical and fun; while we will provide paint shirts and aprons when doing craft, we recommend that if families wish to avoid dirt or paint that they provide a change of clothes for children to change into when they arrive at WEMOOSH.
